00Arrive

Carry the work to the drawing.

Agentic tools for mechanical design. A brief arrives as a page; it leaves as drawings, the record behind them, and the report that agrees with both.

01Commit

Every number, written once.

A machine-readable record holds every value. The drawing, the parts list and the report are read out of it, so nothing is typed twice.

The AgentCAD run loop: brief, solve, draw, report, then verify on the return path, with a dashed revision route from verify back to solve. A crew of three works the loop: one on the brief, one on the drawing, and one in the middle of the record. One source, so nothing can quietly disagree.

02Draw

AgentCAD draws the sheet.

Not generated from a prompt and hoped for. Drawn object by object out of the record: lines, arcs and dimensions, not a picture of them.

An A3 detail sheet for the output shaft: six steps with diameter callouts and fits, a length chain of six dimensions, a section through the keyway, a fits table and a title block. Engineering, not autocomplete

Motor and ratio allocation, two gear stages, shaft forces, bearing life, fits — each with a substitution you can check.

02

Editable output

Real drawing objects, not an exported picture of one.

03

Verification before claims

The finished file is reopened and compared; a mismatch fails the run.

Then the sheet has to survive being reopened.

03Check

Then the sheet is checked.

The drawing is reopened and compared with the record and the report. A mismatch fails the run; a summary is not evidence.

The design record gives a diameter of 180.00; the reopened sheet measures 180.20. The difference is 0.20 and the gate fails. Below, the agent summary says pass and is struck out. Sample pack on request. Client work stays private until the client says otherwise.

What is left is a pack someone can review.

04Sign

A small team signs it.

Narrow on purpose: mechanical design automation, the files engineering teams actually review, and the checks that make those files trustworthy.

01

What we take on

Machine design and power transmission: reducers, drives, and the drawings and report that ship with them.

02

What we sign

The sheet, the record and the report — or none of them.

03

What we refuse

A drawing nobody can verify, and a summary standing in for the artefact.

A sign-off block with three rows: stamped by the agent, initialled by a hand, and still unsigned. A dotted trail leaves the block for the next brief. SIGN-OFF DRAWN CHECKED lt. APPROVED UNSIGNED BRIEF 06 NEXT BRIEF

Your agent, your model, the CAD you already own.

Which leaves one thing: the next brief.

05Return

Send the first page.

A brief is enough to start: what has to be drawn, in which application, and by when. We say plainly whether it is a fit before anyone signs anything.
